Community park development

This small abandoned urban space was revitalized using full community involvement, with the help of city agencies and elected officials. A community design process determined what the neighborhood wanted in the space. A local vendor raised the full budget in order to create the community’s vision. With all volunteer labor, the park was installed and maintained for the full use of the neighborhood.

And as usual there we celebrated with community, food and local music!
