Design Wild is seeking a part-time Admin/Operations Associate to support our energetic and dynamic portfolio and 2023 season. We are looking for an exceptional individual who will be a key member of the team. Candidates should expect 15-20 hours per week of partially remote work. Based in driving distance to Hudson, NY preferred.
The ideal candidate will be experienced and comfortable with business administration and the day-to-day operational tasks. Will be able to update, develop and streamline new operations as we scale. Professionalism, attention to detail, and high-quality writing skills are important. Horticultural knowledge is a plus but not a requirement. A deep dedication to equity and justice in the work is a must.
Tasks will include:
Clients and vendor communications
Authentic and problem-solving customer service
Calendar & scheduling coordination
Purchasing and procurement of project supplies
Assistance with proposals, presentations and meeting materials
Developing, implementing, and maintaining administrative systems as needed
Assistance with social media and marketing
Tracking and filing of expense receipts
Email and contact management
Onsite project visits & assistance
Qualities
Excited and passionate about Design Wild’s mission and work
Enjoy rolling up your sleeves to solve problems and get to work
Highly organized self-starter
Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks at once
Able to practice open, honest, and clear communication
Work both independently and as a team member
Expert in MS Office, Gmail, and Dropbox
Proficiency in Adobe Suite and Squarespace is strongly desired.
Creative eye for design and composition is a huge plus
Pay $24+ an hour based on level of experience
