We were thrilled to installation a new urban farm in the middle of the Bronx for low income New Yorkers. This farm is loved and cared for by the dedicated staff at Community Access were they are growing food with and for their low-income tenants living in this beautiful, newly constructed building. We planted lettuce, broccoli, kale, parsley, basil, beans and so much more. All seedlings grown with our help at The Farm at Miller’s Crossing in the Hudson Valley.
Each bed was also planted with a mini pollinator garden down the center to help and attract our helpful insect friends. We trust this garden will provide both sanctuary and healthy food to the humans and pollinators that have the good fortune to call this oasis home.
